Mostly I just help the officers in the forensics office and run errands for everyone. I lived with a famous detective at home and I'm good at observing things, so sometimes I can catch details that other people miss.
Did you? That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought someone as young as you would be skilled in forensics. I'm curious - how old are you, again? You remind me of one of my grandchildren.
Nevertheless, I'm sure your help and observational skills are appreciated.
I guess it is a little unusual, but I learned a lot from Uncle and some of the police detectives and forensics officers at home. Even though I can only be an assistant right now, I want to be a detective when I'm older.
Then I'm sure that volunteering with the KPD is excellent practice.
